Wing Commander Allan Visit
Wing Commander Allan visited 432 squadron tonight to assess CWO Bathgate and Cpl. Palmer’s Method of Instruction lessons. Congratulations to Cpl. Watling for Bronze DofE, Cpl Morriston for BTEC awards and Flt. Sgt. Kernohan on his promotion.
Bronze Leadership Weekend
This weekend 1379 Squadron - Leiston Air Cadets hosted the first Sector 1 Air Cadet Bronze Leadership Course.
19 Cadets from 188, 356, 432, 1334 and 1379 Sqn successfully completed this tough course and developed their Leadership skills.
It was a great way to end the year with our Sector team working together once again, well done to all who attended and passed, especially to our Woodbridge Sqn.

Presentation Evening Nov 2023
It was a privilege to host the first 432 Sqn presentation evening since the return of face-to-face activities on November 23rd to recognize our fantastic Cadets and Staff in the company of friends, colleagues and dignitaries in the wider wing, region and community in addition to friends and family.
Our evenings main event saw the formal handover of the Sqn banner from the outgoing OC to our new OC. We thanked Flg Off Oxford for his 5 years service and welcomed back Flt Lt Kay back to the Sqn after a 5 year absence to take the healm of Command once more. Flg Off Oxford stays as our shooting, radio and Cyber Officer.
Our Staff and Senior Cadets Flt Sgt Biggs and Bathgate were able to show all guests how far the Sqn has come in the last few years in fantastic presentations.
We recognized the Cadets in a wide variety of achievements including Shooting, sports, air rec, aviation, community engagement, archery, adventure training, most promising Cadet and Best Cadet.

MOD Woodbridge Multi Activity Camp June 2023
Over the weekend cadets from Woodbridge, Leiston, Ipswich and Felixstowe undertook a range of Adventure Training activities including Mountain Biking, Nav Ex, Archery, STEM, Leadership and Volleyball. More photos can be found in the 'Camps and Adventure Training' Gallery.

L98A2 Shooting - RAF Honington
Cadets and Staff from across the Wing showed great skill this weekend by firing the L98A2 at RAF Honington. Congratulations to Cdt Dewy from Woodbridge Sqn for achieving his 'Trained Shot' Marksmanship Badge.
Fieldcraft - Operation Cobra
Over 120 Cadets including 5 from Woodbridge Sqn attended Stanford Training Area this weekend to participate in Fieldcraft lessons and exercises. Its great to see cadets progress through the Fieldcraft syllabus and working towards Junior Leaders. The next step will be utilising the L98A2 blank rifles on exercises for cadets who have a current WHT and attended the silver Fieldcraft Camp. More pictures can be found in the Gallery
MOD Woodbridge MAC- April 2023
30 Cadets from Woodbridge, Ipswich and Leiston took part in a multi-activity camp this weekend on the former airfield at MOD Woodbridge in Suffolk. Activites included archery, navigation exercises, first-aid, orienteering, cooking, camping, STEM, and raft building. Check out the Gallery for more photos.
Wing Drill Competition
432 Woodbridge Cadets competed in the Wing Drill Competition at Ipswich. Well done for all those involved.
RAF Bentwaters Cold War Museum
On 31/08/2022 Cadets 432 squadron were invited to Bentwaters Cold War Museum in Suffolk. The museum is based in the former USAF hardened command post and former Bentwaters Airfield. The aircraft on display include an English Electric Lightning, Hawker Hunter, BAC Jaguar, McDonnell Douglas Phantom & Harrier. Cadets also got to see the fully restored War Operations Room and Battle Cabin, alongside the BT Telephone Exchange room.
